About the Forecaster
Meet Kody Wilson
A 35-year-old native of the Treasure Valley in eastern Oregon, Kody has been forecasting and storm chasing professionally for over 15 years. Mentored in high school by highly-acclaimed Boise meteorologist Vin Crosby, he went on to earn his meteorology degree and build one of the most trusted independent weather communities in the Mountain West.
Unlike weather apps or TV meteorologists, Kody emphasizes transparency, context, and the human element of forecasting — because the weather affects real people making real decisions every single day.
